Haven's 1st Birthday

Haven turned 1!!! We are so excited and sad at the same time that our baby turned 1. She really enjoyed her birthday cake. She would get mad everytime we would try and take it away. She really liked to get all of the presents and she knew they were all her toys. Her favorite thing is baby dolls. Haven has brought so much joy to our family. She can always make you happy. She already knows what she wants and will do whatever to get it. (Throw a tantrum or a cheesy smile.) She is my little sunshine, we would not know what to do with out her. She loves to be with mom. She likes to go shopping and have mom all to herself while the other kids are at school. We love you lots Haven and you always make us happy.

Brynlee
Brynlee started Kindergarten this year and Gavin started Preschool. I am so excited to see both of them growing and learning so many knew things. Haven is just excited that she now has mom all to herself and no other competition.

Camping, Camping, Camping

We decided to get a trailer this year and have had a lot of fun as a family taking it out. We went to Rockport one weekend and had fun, even with the rain most of the weekend. It was nice to be together has a family. We fished and burnt marshmallows(as Brynlee would put it).Over the 4th of July we went camping. We had a really good time. The kids got to swim, play at the playground and try and go hiking. The weather was nice and we had a lot of fun.

Gavin's 3rd Birthday

For Gavin's Birthday we had a good time. He wanted a Spiderman Birthday. We had some family and friends over and the kids played and had a good time. Gavin was so excited to get his new bike.

Gavin smiles and mischevious moments always makes us happy. We love him so much and hope he had a good birthday!!!

Happy Easter

Easter was alot of fun. The kids were so excited. Even Haven had a good time playing with the eggs. It was a great holiday with the family. We are really enjoying the ages of our kids.

Brynlee 5th Birthday

Brynlee turned 5 years, I can't believe that she is already 5. For her birthday she wanted a bigger bike that she can ride without training wheels. (like her cousins) So she got a BRATZ bike, but the traing wheels are still on there for now. She wanted a Hannah Montana Birthday with all of her friends from preschool and her cousins ( which would be 14 kids plus her 10 cousins I talked her into lowering the list) to come, so I made her a guitar cake and they played some games. Brynlee is so much fun. She is so excited to go to school this year. She always has something to say and loves to learn. She is very dramatic, but always makes us laugh. She is getting so big and I am enjoying every second of it. WE LOVE YOU LOTS BRYNLEE

Haven is 5 Months already

Haven is already 5 months old. I can not believe how fast it is going. She has already gotten her own little personality. She already wants all the attention. She is not happy unless someone is talking to her and holding her. She is so much fun. We really enjoy having her around. We love her smiles, they always make us happy.

With all this snow my sisters and I decided to take our kids sledding. Luckily there are hills all around us. We had so much fun. I was so impressed by my little Gavin he would not stop, he would go down the hill and come back up all by himself, by the end he would want me to carry his snow tube. He was so much fun. My niece Carli, got the worst of it all. She was going off a jump and totally wiped out. She scratched her little face all up, but she didn't stop going down the hill. Brynlee didn't want to go home, I think I finally got her to appreciate the snow and how fun it is and can be. She is my little girl that wishes it was summer all year round. It was really a nice day to be with my kids.

Christmas Time

December has been a lot of fun. We started out by blessing Haven. Then we had a good time decorating a gingerbread house with the kids. Gavin mostly liked eating the candy and could not quit figure out why we would put it on the house. Brynlee loves to decorate and do stuff like that so she enjoyed every minute of it. Then Christmas came and we had a good day. Brynlee and Gavin were so excited about their new toys. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Riggs house and had breakfast and opened more presents. Then to Grandma and Grandpa Myler's house. The kids had a good time playing with their cousins, while the adults decided to play spoons, but it was a different kind of spoons. If you didn't get a spoon you had to eat a jelly bean, which could be juicy pear or burger, black licorice or skunk spray, I was luck enough to get burger it was disgusting. (Don't worry Lonni, I won't post your picture:)). It was a fun Christmas to get together as family.

Haven's Blessing

We blessed Haven on Sunday. It was so neat. My grandma was able to come and Haven's middle name was named after her, Haven Julia Riggs. She also wore the dress that I wore when I was a litte girl, my grandma made it out of the material from my mom's wedding dress. It was really nice to have her there. She is such an important person in my life and has taught me so much. She is someone that I have always admired. I really appreciate all that she has done for me in my life and her example.

Over Thanksgiving weekend we got to go to St. George with Gordon's family. It was fun to get out of town. We went shopping at the outlet mall and got some awesome deals. We also went to the craft fair. I got to go into Cedar City and see my grandma and she got to see Haven for the first time. I also got to see some of my cousins that I hadn't seen for a long time. It is always fun to get together with family. It's to bad that the Holidays is the only time that families come together.

So I am completely new at this and never thought that I would actually do this!! But it seems like a good way to stay in touch with family and friends. So here we go.
